Watercolor Florals for Fall
Hello Crafters!
I don’t know about you guys but I love Flowers no matter what time of year it is. I love seeing how people decorate for autumn and recently I’ve seen some beautiful floral arrangements. I went straight to Pinterest and started brainstorming!
Here’s what I came up with. My absolute favorite set to watercolor with is Fresh Cut Florals. It’s the cat’s pajamas of watercolor sets for me 🙂
I put together a video for you guys showing how I did it. Enjoy!
Here’s a close up for you.
I really do love the way it came out. Makes me feel like a real painter haha!
Here’s the supplies I used:
Gift card layers die, Fresh Cut Florals, Pretty Peonies, Grateful Greetings, Distress Markers in: Ripe Persimmon, Fired Brick, Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, and Forest Moss, Distress ink pads in: Fossilized Amber, Ground Espresso, Festive Berries, and Aged Mahogany.
In other news, I’m hosting a challenge on my blog and MarkerPOP was generous enough to not only offer a $25.00 gift card as a prize but also offer a coupon code! If you’d like to be in the running you can check it out here!
Thanks so much for joining me!

Kelly,
This is gorgeous, I think you underestimate your watercoloring talent as well as your flower placement! I wanted to ask about your brush, I noticed it had a hooked edge to it and I have never seen one like it. Could you tell me the brand and name, and possibly where you purchased it? It seemed great for this type of work and I don’t have anything like it.
Thanks,
Maureen
