Teachers’ Appreciation Book Marks
Hey there, Heidi here! Welcome to the Marker POP blog. This week is Teachers’ Appreciation week, so I’m here to share with you the book marks that I created for my son’s teachers. Book marks are very versatile because you can used them as a tags for your gifts, a very useful tag, right? Summer is the time of the year where I read the most, so cute book marks, would be very handy.
Very simple one layer only, to avoid bulk so they lay flat inside the book.
I used the adorable “best pun ever” stamp set by Lawn Fawn, some distress ink and colored them with Copic Markers.
Let’s look at them, I hope you’ll enjoy them and give them a try!
I will be running these through the laminator, but I wanted to photograph them first, so the plastic from the lamination, wouldn’t interfere with the lighting of the photograph.
I used some masking, so I could add some distress ink shading, to add more color! The word “teacher” is from the “A good apple” stamp set, also by Lawn Fawn
Copic Markers I used: Trophy: E27, Y28, Y15, Y11; teapot and tea cup: RV13, RV21, RV10 BG53, BG02; fan: BG15, BG13, BG11, C5, C3, C1,: plus some highlights with a white gel pen
Supplies:
Thanks so much for stopping by at the Marker POP blog
