Learning Copics with MarkerPOP! Lesson 4 – Hair for Beginners
Hey everyone! Samantha here with another lesson for ya!
I am continuing on with the Learning Copics with MarkerPOP! video series! Last week we talked about the feathering/flicking technique & today we are going to apply that technique to coloring hair! If you’ve missed any videos in this series, you can always catch up with my Learning Copics playlist, here.
At the beginning of this video, I share some basic stamping info in case you are new to stamping & Copic coloring. Then the rest of the video explains my approach to coloring hair. I have quite a few videos already on my Copic Youtube channel that discuss hair. You can find them on my Youtube Channel here.
To go along with my lesson, I have a card to share also! I did some Copic airbrushing on this card & I really loved how the airbrushing turned out.
Supplies Used:
Memento Full Size Dye Ink Pad – Tuxedo Black
X-Press IT Blending Card Paper Bright White 8.5” x 11” 25 Sheets
Lawn Fawn Paper Pack – Let’s Polka 6 x 6
Up Up Bean Stamp
Crafter’s Companion Permanent Tape Runner
Copics: E00, E02, E21, E57, E59, BG15(for the airbrushing)
Copic Airbrush Systems – AC-101 (na) Air Compressor by Sparmax
Studio Calico Essentials Enamel Dots – Yellow & Orange
That’s it for today. I hope that you enjoyed this lesson & the project. Have a great day!

I just had to come back to tell you that your video was SO helpful. I’ve never been able to do hair well, but now that I know how to do it without trying to blend, I think I’ll be able to make it look nice. I’m going to be sure to watch your other videos, because like i said before, I NEED HELP!
