Fun and Simple Note Cards
Hi, everyone! Kelli here today with a cute note card set using the Lawn Fawn – Critters Ever After stamp set. I stamped the two images in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics:
Unicorn-
mane and tail: R24, YR16, Y35, G02, B24, V15
hooves and horn: RV29, RV25, RV23, R20
body: C3, C1, 0
Frog-
body: G07, G05, G02, spots G28
crown: Y35, Y15, Y13, Y11, YR16
This is not really on topic, but something funny just happened. When I was writing that out, I didn’t know what to call the unicorn’s spike/horn. I asked my husband, who didn’t know or care, I’m sure both. Then I started cracking up at the thought of it being called a corn….uni-corn. Lol! So silly, but it made me laugh!
Back to the cards! Whenever I make something with Lawn Fawn stamps I always seem to want to make something really clean on white card stock. I feel like their images are perfect for that. The rainbow colors on the unicorn won’t blend perfectly because they are just too different and I think that is perfectly ok!
To finish them off I added some Plush Blush twine to the unicorn card and some Sun Kissed twine to the frog. The price is awesome for the little 20 yard spools by the way! I also added some Stickles to the corn (*wink*) and hooves of the unicorn and crown of the frog.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day! 🙂
